EUSD is proud to offer Dual Language Programs at several schools, providing students with a pathway toward earning the Seal of Biliteracy, which recognizes high-level proficiency in two or more languages. On Wednesday, May 27, we celebrated 5th and 8th-grade students from Pioneer Elementary, Glen View Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, Farr Avenue Elementary, and Mission Middle Schools for their active participation in the Dual Language Program and for being on track to graduate high school with this distinguished recognition.
Our students continue to excel across a wide range of disciplines, from linguistic proficiency to creative technology. One of our talented students from Quantum Academy, Ailyn Alvarez, was recently recognized with the Grand Prize at the California Student Media Festival in the Middle School division for an outstanding digital media production. This incredible achievement highlights the creativity, innovation, and storytelling skills our students continue to demonstrate both inside and outside the classroom. Congratulations to our student creator and the Quantum team for representing EUSD with excellence at the state level!
Here are this week’s updates and reminders.
