Busy weekend for our Roadrunners. Saturday our 5th grade STEAM team competed in Math and Technology competitions. Then on Sunday our Rugby team played their final game, ending with a BIG WIN! Way to go Roadrunners!
On March 29th Rock Springs families cheered on San Diego Gulls Hockey for their 3-1 victory over Calgary Wranglers. Our Roadrunners and their siblings enjoyed a High 5 Tunnel with the players as the Gulls took the ice for the 3rd period. Later we were all smiles for a quick post game on-ice experience. Thank you PTA for organizing a fun family night out!

Together We Can! Rock Springs will be participating in the National Kindness Challenge by giving back to our community. In coordination with the 100th day of school, each grade level is being challenged to bring 100 items that will be donated to EUSD Project Success. Project Success helps EUSD families in need throughout Escondido. The 100th day of school will be on February 4th. so start bringing your items as we count to 100! Items due January 31st. ROCK SPRINGS GARDEN RENOVATION.
Join Rock Springs PTA and Love Esco while we clean up and rejuvenate garden beds. This is a 2-day project.
Day 1, Feb. 1st, will be clearing the garden beds and updating them.
Day 2, Feb 8th, will be planting all the new wonderful plants.

Last night EUSD honored three outstanding Rock Springs Students with the Student of Excellence award. Congratulations, Lizbeth, Shelby, and Natalie for demonstrating what great student's of Character are.
Rock Springs invites all the parents to our workshop Bilingual Reading where we will learn and practice comprehension reading techniques with the children.
